VERTIMAX for Physical Therapists
Introducing Unlimited Versatility with No Loss of Specificity

There is almost no rehabilitation challenge that cannot be uniquely addressed with the Elite 8 functional trainer. It gives the therapist the latitude to design an almost unlimited number of task-specific positions and exercises. Whether it is a patient needing the most basic physical and motor capabilities to be able to return to an independent lifestyle, or a competitive athlete in need of high performance retraining, the VertiMax Elite 8 can handle the job.

Functional Training: Armed with the Elite 8 Functional Trainer, no task-specific movement exists that you cannot replicate and constructively address.

Progressive Training: Use it to progress individuals from the onset of their closed-chain rehabilitation through to the most elastic equivalent training.

Stability Training: Effective bodyweight reduction (off-loading) and/or balanced centering forces can be applied to stability-deficient patients (giving you that "other set of hands" so often needed).

Mobility Training: As patient-generated stability improves and augmentation forces are able to be reduced, mobility training resistances can be added - or if already present can be increased.

Transitional Training: From basic linear moves to more complex transverse moves, to demanding competitive sports moves, the Elite 8 offers therapists the widest range of angles, planes, and loading.

Efficient Training: Easy to use! Only seconds of setup time is required, so more time can be devoted to patients.

Asymmetrical Loading: When situations require (such as left or right side affected post stroke patients), appropriate imbalances can be set and applied.

Even More Advantages

Optimum Individualization: Not only are four levels of the color-coded resistance bands standard on every unit (no searching for misplaced bands), but utilizing a patented camlock system, these bands can easily be shortened or lengthened to further extend the upper and lower limits of resistances available.

Unlike other bungee-type devices, patented components on the Elite 8 Functional Trainer maintain the desired loading at an appreciably non-varying level through the complete concentric and eccentric range of movement.

Simultaneous Multiple Use: Three or more individuals can undergo functional training (or as shown, post sports injury competitive movement retraining) at the same time. Involved positions can be on the platform, in front of the platform, or exterior to either side.
